Roots N' Wings Montessori is a child care center tucked away in Redwood City and surrounded by nature. We serve children from 2-6 years old, and we are proud of our low child to teacher ratio of 6:1. Our teachers are all Montessori trained and have many years of teaching experience.

Mr. Roi Brigino has been a preschool teacher since 2012. He completed 18 units of Early Childhood Education from Canada College. Mr. Roi attended AMI training courses for Early Childhood Education. He has 8 years of teaching experience in a Montessori classroom and constantly attending seminars to update his Montessori teaching skills.
Ms. Griselda Salazar was born and raised in the Bay Area. She is Mexican American and can speak both English and Spanish. She started her teaching journey in community college studying Early Childhood Education. During her time in college, she learned about the Montessori Method and was instantly a huge fan. She became extremely passionate about the teaching approach. She worked as a teacher at Outschool for a few years where she did more traditional teaching but over time realized that her interest in learning and practicing the Montessori Method is something she wants to pursue. Working and teaching at Roots N Wings Montessori was a wonderful opportunity to start her teaching career. She is currently taking her Montesori certificate at MTEC/San Francisco Bay Area and taking each day as a one big step of becoming a true Montessori guide.
Ms. Cess Domingo is a licensed teacher and counselor. She has been a teacher for the past 16 years, having the opportunity to educate children as young as 2 to young adults as old as 20 years old. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Master's in Guidance and Counseling and a Graduate Diploma in Special Education. Ms. Cess enjoys being with kids and has a big heart for early childhood education. She fell in love with the Montessori method during her post-graduate work. Ms. Cess is a constant learner as well and is currently in the process of taking Montessori units.
Mr. Lawrence has been with Roots N Wings Montessori since the school year 2023. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and an Early Childhood Montessori teacher credential from American Montessori Society. He was teaching kids with disabilities for 2 years before exploring the preschool age group. Mr. Lawrence's mother was a teacher as well and he wanted to continue his mother's legacy. Mr. Lawrence is very patient and knowledgeable on the Montessori approach. He is currently continuing his education in the infant toddler program with Montessori Teacher Education Center San Francisco Bay Area.
Aileen is a passionate educator at Roots N Wings Montessori School, holding an Early Childhood Montessori teacher credential from the American Montessori Society. She has a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Minor in Math and Statistics, which enhances her ability to create a structured and engaging learning environment. Her love for teaching began early—she started tutoring children during high school and continues to be inspired by working with young learners. Writing is another passion, allowing her to creatively express ideas and explore educational concepts. Aileen is committed to understanding each child’s individual needs and fostering a nurturing environment where they can thrive academically and emotionally.
Mr. Ron Gonzalez is the Japanese language teacher every Friday. He passed the first level Japanese Language Proficiency exam many years ago. Early on in his career, he lived in Tokyo, Japan while interning at Hitachi Semiconductor Ltd, working on semiconductor simulation software. He moved to the US and has worked in technology companies like Oracle, Salesforce and Apple specializing in Data, Machine Learning and AI. Today, he is Vice President at WEX, where he leads the AI and Data Lake Engineering teams. He loves playing the guitar and singing both English and Japanese songs with the kids and he constantly seeks to find technology applications in preschool education.
